Did you know that you can convert your video into a DVD using Windows?  You can launch the Windows Movie Maker and use AVI (Audio Video Interleave) and other files to make the DVD.  It is spontaneous once you launch the program.  AVI is a multimedia container format and these files can contain both audio and video data in a file container that allows multiple streaming of audio-with-video playback.

Something else to consider is burning your videos to a DVD format.  If you don’t want to take your video to a photo processor to burn a DVD, you can use the included software to convert the files.  You will not be sharing videos on the web.  Here’s how easy it is to burn a DVD using the software:

1)     Open the Flip Share software

2)    Click the “share” tab on the menu bar

3)    Hold the cursor over “online”

4)    Choose “Others”

5)    Box opens entitled “Select a Web site”

6)    Inside the box click button on word “Other”  — Make sure button is clicked then click and drag your video into the space on the right.  It says “add videos by dragging from the main menu”.

7)     After adding the video, click “Next” in bottom right corner of the box.

8)    When the next box opens entitled “Name your desktop folder”, choose a name that will appear on the desktop.  Click on “Go” button.

9)    When the box closes – the Flip Share window will have a progress bar which tells you it’s saving.

10)A web browser will open when it finishes.  Close it and your folder that you created should be on your desktop.

It’s always good to remember you can get excellent still photographs from your Flip Video when using the Flip Share editing software.  With the Flip Ultra HD Camcorder you don’t need to be a professional photographer or a computer geek.
